Johnson Investment Counsel, a prominent wealth management company in the Midwest, has grown significantly through its nearly 60 years of providing values-driven trusted counsel for their clients. As a result, Johnson wanted to create a best-in-class workspace, both in their existing and new offices, that supports their strong culture. 

To reflect this transformation it was important to build an office reflective of the  brand, with a future forward focus to connect with clients and attract and retain the top next generation leaders. Their employees often stay with the company for decades and often their entire careers, building trust and partnerships with their clients. Johnson wanted a workspace that supports their people’s well-being.

Based on the insights from the employee engagement, Kolar co-created with the client’s team a state of the art environment that tells the story, and offers different settings within the site to meet the dynamic needs of this growing organization. The new employee-centered workspace is designed with focus on employee experience to drive engagement and productivity, which is the basis for the organization’s success.
